Job Title: IT Team Leader (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced IT Team Leader (m/f/d) to help drive our IT strategy, improve service, deliver projects and oversee our headquarters infrastructure team of seven people.  Using your hands-on skills, you will lead by example and help shape the team on our transformation journey.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support a team of IT infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth
• Ensure stability and security by maintaining and optimizing our IT systems
• Drive key projects, from integrating new IT solutions to improving existing infrastructure
• Collaborate across departments to align IT infrastructure with business needs
• In your role, you will build customer relationships by helping improve our IT Service Management

Required skills and qualifications

• A degree or completed relevant IT training (such as CompTIA A+, Prince2 or similar)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, including team leading
• Expertise in IT infrastructure technologies (including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure)
• An understanding of networking, firewalling, backup concepts, VPN, and cybersecurity principles
• Proven experience leading IT projects
• A strong foundation in IT Service Management (including change, incident and problem management)
• Good communication skills as a collaborative team player in across-cultural and cross-functional environments
• Written and oral fluency in German (Level C1) and English
